The Greatest invention on earth

So I picked up the foam for my bed yesterday. I got a combo of memory foam and regular foam... I get sleepy just sitting on it. It's better than sliced bread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I think I might go and get another layer. Gotta have the soft & comfy! Now just two more things to get... It'll be finished soon!!!!

Work in progress

So here are the pictures of my "work in progress". I still have to buy foam and fabric for the mattress and then go and get some colored gels for the circles in the base. It tilts in three different positions! And of course I had to stain it my favorite color. Surprise Surprise! But I don't believe in painting wood! Color's good but lets see the grain! Anyway, Once I get the last few things... I'll take some more pictures

Monstercake

I suppose

I suppose that I should write about what happened on the other days of parties for my mom but now that it's a month ago... I'm not really in the mood anymore. Horrible isn't it. Well, she had a great time and being that all of us kids are wise asses, there were a lot of running jokes that still go on now. Highlights... Anytime anyone went downstairs, we told them to bring up a can of corn because it was almost assured that if we went downstairs as kids... we had to bring up a can of corn. The morning we went out to breakfast, my nephew Pat kept asking me if I wanted to eat the bacon off his plate which actually made my parents choke with laughter. My dad said that he didn't want any lighting blots at the breakfast table. One out of the six of us is the milk man's baby but debate is still ongoing... Dad says that we're all kids from my mother's first husband... various reasons but certainly funny. Yes, I'm keeping that joke to myself. *SMILE* But really it all comes down to the fact that when you have 5 out of six together with mom & dad, too much stuff happens to actually keep it straight. The rest of the vacation was spent trying to drywall the attic before I left and in the evenings trying to see as many people as possible. I didn't get to see or spend as much time in the city as I wanted but that's a good reason to take another trip. The work season is picking up and from what I understand, we're gonna go crazy because of what happened in New Orleans. Guess the conventions must go on... but anyway... Just playing some video games before work starts up again. And I'm happy to say that I'm already booked for most of the week. Which feels good cuz I really need to buy a car! Maybe someday! Right now it's online to research some matress prices for my new bed and hopefully in a few weeks it will all be complete. Just some fabric shopping to do for a hat that one day I may actually get an address for but I think I'm gonna sew it instead of knit it. Why, you ask... because I think I can make it a bit more fun than it already is.
