Here's part of the story

On Monday I was heading over to the tent where all the equipment is and Brian, who's a gamer & a cousin of candy boy walked up and started talking to me. All of a sudden before I knew it he was asking me now that I'm dating Matt, when am I going to start playing World of Warcraft online

I froze

Just then this guy named David pulled up for some equipment and he usually teases me about dating this guy Scott, who is just a friend but the way our dispatch system works we end up on a lot of calls together. The rumor got so bad that someone at work came up and congratulated me for being pregnant

David pulled up just as Brian asked me the Matt question and smiled and said, "I don't think Scott would approve" (Scott's on tour right now and out of the country)

I said, "Hold up David, you know you need to stop that Scott shit. And when did I start dating Matt"

David smiled and said, "Little birdies have been tweeting in my ear and he pulled away on a cart."

I looked at Brian and he smiled and walked away

So later when I passed by David, I had asked him what Alex (Matt's cousin) told him and all David did was smile.

This went back and forth all night. There was one point that Lynne was on the phone with me and she walked past David and I told her to ask him what Alex said and all David said was that apparently it was good enough to talk about it and asked me if it was good. Lynne and I just laughed because I wasn’t going to go into details about anything.

Well, I couldn't just go to the source because they (Matt & Alex) were on a family ski trip and weren't back in town yet. So on Tuesday, I saw Alex in the morning but I didn't see Matt. So around lunch.... I call Matt and he was working at another location. So I told him to call me when he had a coffee break because I had a story for him. He freaked and said it's not something life changing like your pregnant.

I said no it's funny, so I told the guys that I'm working with that when I get a phone call, I'm going on break. He calls me back and I basically run down the story from the previous day. We start laughing about the whole thing. He then proceeds to talk for 20 minutes about WOW. And in that time one of the guys that I'm working with started joking around with me to take a breath between sentences when I wasn’t the one even doing the talking. Matt then told me the whole story. He said something people were teasing him about not getting laid and he said he had but didn’t mention any names. Alex started in on him to find out who it was to the point that Alex stopped talking to Matt until he told him who it was. Matt caved and blabbed. So the next time I passed Alex, I said "what's with starting crazy rumors"

Alex asked me "who's starting rumors about who."

I said, “You are about me and then basically recapped everything that had happened.” Alex started laughing which told me that he was caught.

The next day comes around and the boyfriend jokes start flying. It got to the point that on Friday morning, I was walking around getting signatures on paperwork and walked into a booth with both Alex and Brian. They had asked me if I was going snow boarding with them on New Years Eve morning and I said when did snowboarding come into the picture for new years plans and Alex looks at me with a big smile and says your boyfriends going, I raised an eyebrow and said "Ok guys, don't get carried away with this." As Lynne and I were leaving work on Friday, I called Alex and asked what the plans were for new years and he told me that I should call Matt and see what was going on. I started laughing when he said that and Alex says "what, it's your boyfriend... it's ok for you to call him." All I could do was laugh. So I had a totally different agenda in calling Matt but I did and I guess he had to work New years Eve and Day but we (Lynne, Ryan {Lynne’s boyfriend} and a few others but not Matt) all ended up going to a bar and hanging out with Alex and his friends. And it seems that he told all his friends that I was hanging out with Matt and of course I was getting.... when you realize that Matt's not the one... I'll be here... don't forget.

And that’s where the story is right now.
